How do you handle client feedback when it conflicts with your design instincts?

I believe that when you work with the stipulated instructions your clients left for you to use and do a project for them, there is nothing that is going to conflict whatever you are doing once you have completed the job.
Exactly. Every designer should work closely with what the clients want. That will lessen the probability of disagreeing with the end results of the project.
 
Yes, I do that always. To make clients happy and contented with what they wanted. I will only charge them when they come back to say that it's not good enough 😃
I've worked for clients who are very difficult to please. Those kind of people never take your suggestion. If they do, they will still turn and blame you for it. I don't suggest anything to them. I let them say exactly what they want and I'll do it for them.

And that's how it supposed to be. People that are difficult to please make mistakes so easily and it's also difficult for them to admit it. The more reason I don't interact or suggest anything for them.
 
Customer satisfaction is my concern. That is why I try my best to work according to what they have in mind, because if I do not comply they will just find someone else to do it. So I take the feedback positively and work on it.

Some freelancers believe that they can get away with everything. Being at work ends with your customers isn't cool at all. I will always like to keep my cool with customers in order to get the orders but where I will have problems with them is being rude to me.
 
Feedbacks are meant to use to improve on any jobs which have already been delivered. If a client is not happy about a job I did and gave some feedback, I will find a way to adjust and give the clients exactly what they want.
