This usually happens randomly but I've experienced it once or twice when I get almost the same kind of work order from different client. Their requirements will only have few differences that I need to adjust in the work.

Have you ever received almost the same work order from different client? When you get such job, do you start all over from the scratch or get your previous job and make adjustments to it and have it delivered?

Yeah, I have received the same order in several occasions. What I always do is that I can have a copy of the previous work and then do some adjustments to it and have it delivered. Surprisely, none of my clients have complained about it at all. They are always happy that I delivered what they want.

As long as they are not exactly the same thing, with the difference in what the new client requested for their own project, they will never have any reason to complain about it.

I do that all the time with my client and I make sure they give me explicit details of what they want which I do exactly that.

It was their details that can differentiate what they wanted. There was a time that one client didn't give me any details, he told me to give him a specific flyer on something he mentioned. I used the previous work I did for another person, change some things and he loved it.

Exactly! This is why I will always make sure to go over the details of what any of my clients wants over and over again in order to make sure that I'm not missing anything or not understanding exactly what they needed. I hate redoing works.

Good designers are always observant and they will always try their best to keep up with their clients. It's only those that don't want their clients to come back will be careless with any work given to them.

I wouldn't say this happens all the time but it is something I have had happen a few times in the past to me. I guess when it does happen it can be quite nice if you have done something similar as you know where to start and what to do for the graphic and then get feedback from your client to be sure they are happy with the finished project.

Working on a similar work for different clients will only make the work to be easier and simple. The second clients will get a work done carefully and with a positive feedback back to the designer.

It is always going to be one of the easiest job you can actually get out there from a client because you already have something that is almost a complete work of what the new client is requesting for. All you only need to do is carry out few adjustments and then new job is ready for you to deliver.

This is the truth. I have not had such an experience of receiving job orders that way, but I know that it will be a smooth experience should such get to happen as I will just do minor changes.

Unfortunately, I haven't been lucky in this aspect when it comes to getting the same type of job from a different client. If I did, I would definitely be very happy about it because it's going to save me a lot of stress from starting the job all over from the scratch.
