Full time or part time graphics designer?

It is not about working on full-time basis as a graphic designer that is the problem but being able to make enough money from working as a full-time graphic designer to be able to take care of your responsibilities that is going to be a problem. Those who are even working normal jobs on full-time basis are finding it very difficult to cope.

This is an eye-opener. I was looking at becoming a full-time graphics designer, but it seems that I won't be able to make the amount of money that would be enough to cover my bills.

How are working online as a graphics designer? Do you take on the job as a full time project or it's something that you're working on as a part time project to be combined with your other office job?

Would you be willing to take on being a graphics designer as a full time job?
I love to work from home so I will prefer Graphic designer as a part time job and I will like to focus only in one job.

Working as a graphic designer is something that I prefer to do as a part-time business because I have been doing this for a long time to know that I wouldn't get paid enough to make it my full time job. But if anything changes for the good, I'll do it as a full time job.

I would say that considering the amount of graphics work I take on, I am more of a part-time graphics designer as opposed to being a full-time graphics designer.
It is the number of jobs that you are getting as a graphic designer that would decide for you on making it a full-time job or something you run on part-time business because if you're not getting enough, it is never going to be realistic for you to work as a full-time graphic designer.

Right now I am not a full time graphics designer yet. I still have jobs that I do offline, and I do not think I can go full time completely. I will supplement it with my offline job.

It is going to be very difficult for me to work as a graphic designer on a full-time business because I don't normally get jobs to work on regularly and this will affect my earning.
Offline jobs can take much of our time and it's limited to what one can try to achieve online sometimes. The easiest thing I have done was to go with my laptop to work and if there's chance, I will settle one or two clients.

When it is possible for you to secure clients on a consistent rate and also having an exceptional skills that makes it possible for you to get paid enough for your graphic design jobs, I think it is possible for you to work on a full-time basis.

It is the reason why I find it very difficult to work as a graphic designer on a full-time because a lot of things that I have to do offline will never allow me the chance to focus on working online as a graphic designer 24/7.

I'm a freelancer and also a painter. I work on both jobs part time. When I have graphics design jobs, I work on them and when it's painting job, I will take that on until it's completely done.

Designing needs full-time in order to get the clients and the income needed. It's good to combine both offline and online jobs to make ends meet.

Being a part-time graphic designer is not bad. However, are you making plans to go into full designing in the future or is it something that is never part of your plans at all?
I have no choice but to focus on working with what I have since getting a new job haven't been forthcoming.

Do you know any good place where I can seek out jobs especially something in the tech sector?

It depends on your area and country. But the only easier way to know if there's any tech sector in your area is by searching for it online or asking questions.

I have an offline job, so I do designs by the side. It is not what I can depend on full time yet, as I need to build my portfolio.
