Like many MS Paint laid the foundation for what I am today. My first digital design was something silly I drew using MS Paint.

What's yours?

It was Canva that I started using as my first graphic design tool about 10 years ago. I strictly made use of the free version of canva and it helped me.

My first graphic tool was using MS Paint to design an invitation. It came out simple and nice though I have bad combinations in colour.

The first graphic tool I used was MS Paint, later, I went on to learn Photoshop, Freehand, and Corel Draw. I could not go beyond basic skills, therefore, I started using Canva

MS Paint was what I started out with before it didn't take long for me to start using GIMP. GIMP was a free tool which did everything for me back in the days. I later jumped into using Canva to have the experience of working with it.

My first real work was using Photoshop. I wanted to create a few web elements and I tried looking for ways to do it. Photoshop had tutorials for the same.

It was Canva that I can remember using first for designing business cards. It's highly recommended as a result of its simplicity, a lot of pre-made templates. All these made it easy to use.

A lot of young people are starting their design careers with Figma or Canva due to the ease of use. I would say a better start than using MS Paint for sure ;)

Canva and Figma made things to be easier than Ms Paint. Things are changing and more tools are been made for the work to be easier too.
