There are times when for one reason or another we lose the clients we work with. It can be disheartening but there is no choice but to move on.

Have you ever lost a client? Why and how did you cope?

It's not a must that you're going to strike a deal with every client who came asking. It's part of the job. You get some and lose some. I don't feel too bad about it.

Yes you are right but this is different. This is a client that you have been working with for some time now but you lost them. It can give you a different feeling compared to not being able to strike a deal with a new client.

If there's no good reason why they stopped ordering for my service, I would be worried. If they told me about the reason why they don't want to anymore, I will find a way to understand it that nothing last forever.

It's not possible to keep all of your clients forever. People taste change over time. I've had some clients want to try out someone new, I don't have any problem with it.

I like your mindset. If you believe that clients come and go, you will not beat up yourself too much for the ones that got away. You will find others the way you found those ones too.

I've had some clients that we couldn't reach an agreement and they had to go away. It's always very frustrating when I can't reach an agreement to be hired by a client.

I've lost a client once and it was as a result of not communicating fast when he wanted to order for my service. My internet was down for 2 days and that's what cost me the client.

Yes, it's the nature of freelancing jobs. It's impossible to hold and retain all your clients from day 1 till the end. I've lost so many and gained so many new ones.

We move ahead ahead!!

It's not everyone that comes to market that will patronize your business product and services. So, it's the same thing with converting clients online as a freelancer. You will always lose some and gain some even from your pre existing clients.

This is painful. Losing a client as a result of a bad Internet connection can be frustrating and tiring. I have lost a client as a result of not responding early, and I felt bad about that situation then as well.

Yes, I had lost some clients. The mindset I have always carried with me is that not everybody will patronize me. Losing a client might be for some reasons either trying another new place or they don't want your services anymore, though I will feel bad but it's what it is.

This is why I have at least three different internet subscription paid for so that I don't have to suffer the result of internet downtime when I am using only one network to connect to the Internet.
