Do you like playing music when you're working?

So the music does not disrupt your flow of work and ideas?

It doesn't because I'm more focused on the writing and then the beats of the music helps me to write more faster. This doesn't work with everybody though.

I find playing music whenever I am working on a project very helpful because it helps me to concentrate and build up my Vibe when I am designing.

Music can really set the vibe when you’re designing. For me, it depends on the project, if I’m doing something creative like brainstorming or working on visuals, I love having some chill electronic or lo-fi beats in the background. It keeps me focused and kind of helps ideas flow.

But when I’m doing detailed edits or client revisions, I usually turn the music off, otherwise I start paying more attention to the lyrics than the layout .

Yes, I'm very aware of that because what works for me might never work for another person. It's why I don't try to impose doing anything on anyone.

That is actually a disadvantage of listening to music when you’re are doing a serious work. You will not know when you start giving to it and drifting away from the work.
