Do you design just for fun?

Graphics designers make designs mostly when they get orders from clients. But there are times when I make designs just for the fun of it or when inspiration hits.

Do you also do this often?

I do that too. I can create designs for fun or when inspiration hits. It helps me to try new techniques, push my creativity without anybody's restrictions.

Sometimes, those designs always turn out to be my best work because there's no pressure.

Yes, I do. Believe me when I tell you, it's one of the best ways to get better on the job. It's why I revisit my old jobs, redo them again, compare and contrast how they look now vs before.

Everything started as a fun thing for me because I just wanted to play along with what's being done by most people. I still see it the same way now when working for clients.

No, I don't. I monetize everything I'm doing online as a work. I have things I do as a hobby which isn't possible for me to monetize them because if it were possible, I would do it.
