Copying design

Did it happen to you? Did someone copy your design or art work without consent? What was your reaction?

I don't know if anyone have copied my design work yet because I haven't seen any. But should I find out, I'll definitely not be happy about it since I wasn't contacted by the person who did it. Although, I'm not sure if I would be threatening anything serious.

I recall having a simple flyer that I designed as a beginner but my friend copied it the exact way I designed it, she only changed the font and when I saw it, I know it's my work.

Anyone who go through the problem of copying your work is only trying to tell you that your work is good enough for them to copy it. No one will copy what's badly and poorly designed is what I'm going to tell you.

I didn't make a fuss out of it. Copying another person's work isn't the problem but the heat of the matter is that they will collect funds and also registered the work on their name.

Personally, I don't worry so much about it because I know that there is no way it is going to be possible for someone to copy my work and it's going to be a 100% replica of what I have designed. They might look similar but they wouldn't be the same thing.
