    Student's Licence

Nope, I don't have any student's licence when I was learning. I used mostly free tools to learn which didn't require having a licence to cut down cost of paying for tools I work with.

    Prototyping

Unfortunately, I haven't learnt anything about how to create or design a web page or an app interface. I'm still going to learn how to work on the structure and layout of a web page because I know it's a good aspect of graphics designing.

    Inspiration

The person who taught me everything I know on graphics designing is obviously going to be my mentor. Without him, I know I might still be able to learn it online from YouTube and the rest but it's going to more difficult for me.

    Technical Aspects

Everything that's worth to be learnt in graphics designing needs to be known. You can never say that it's too much to acquire knowledge on what you're involved in. It's why I don't leave out anything and make sure to learn all that's supposed to be learnt.

    Using Books

Books are still very relevance because you can still learn a few things from it and be able to put it into practical. It's why I still devote time to reading any good book I can find on the subject.

    The easiest to learn?

It was very much easier for me to learn how to design graphically a business card. With the use of Canva, I was able to do so with so much ease after I was taught the basis of how it's done.

    Ignoring Print

Yes, I've gone fully digital for a long time. This is what the trend is all about in this our modern time. I know some jobs can still be done in the print sector but I'm not sticking around that area again.

    Area of specialisation

I'm very effective with using Canva, so I can say that I will be a Canva person forever. Even though I love using other tools, Canva is clearly my favourite amongst all of the alternatives.

    Student discount

Sadly, I never did take advantage of this when I was learning. This is because I used mostly free graphics designing tools. There was no need for me to pay money. If I needed to use the paid tools, I would have take advantage of this student discount.

    Template library

Everyone who's into graphics designing must know about Shutterstock because of how popular it have been over the years. Even though its subscription is costly, but it gives you the best. Would Canva's templates be considered as such like Shutterstock?

    Went to arts school

Unfortunately, I never went to any art school which is only dedicated to teaching only arts and paintings. I did some art courses in the University but it's not enough to be considered studying arts full time.

How long did it take you to learn graphics designing?

Canva made it a bit easier for me when I started out in learning graphics designing. I know it's not everything that I could possibly learn with Canva but it assisted me a lot. Within 2 to 3 years, I've mastered almost everything I can do with Canva.

    Competing with professionals

It's not everyone that are privileged to have their work being compared with those who are already established in the graphics design industry. If I ever get to that stage, I'll consider myself a big pro.

    Cost involved

Exactly! It's why I still appreciate both Canva and GIMP so much. They are among the best graphics design tools out there which are totally free but get the job done all the time.

    Internship

As someone who's working under internship, you're not paying any money for whatever you're being taught. If you're to pay to acquire the knowledge, it's going to cost a whole lot more than what you expect them to pay you.

    Plugins

I would love to know how to design or create plugin or addon for Photoshop. When I get better in doing it, they are not going to be the only place I would want to create plugin or addon for. I'll explore the possibility of doing same for XenForo.

    First Graphics tool

It was Canva that I can remember using first for designing business cards. It's highly recommended as a result of its simplicity, a lot of pre-made templates. All these made it easy to use.
