Why there is still no real competition for Photoshop? Serif Affinity was close but they weren't a replacement.

It's like what's happening with PayPal, they are miles above other payment processors. It's why they don't have any real competition. The same thing is what's going on with Photoshop.

GIMP works well for most of the things I needed to do back in the days before I upgraded and started making use of Photoshop.

Adobe Photoshop has stronger tools which is what makes it better.

I used GIMP too but as a result of the limited features that you have on it, I had to upgrade to making use of Adobe Photoshop. It have been a very smart move that I made so far.

Canva is the only thing that is a good competition to Photoshop in my opinion because I've been making use of the free version for a long time before I upgraded to the paid version which gives me almost the things that I have on Photoshop.
