What makes a logo memorable?

In my own opinion, a memorable logo is a combination of simplicity, uniqueness, and relevance. It should be easy to recognize, stand out from the crowd, and most importantly connect with the brand's message.

What else do you think makes a logo memorable?
 
There shouldn't be too much noise in the logo design. If it's not something which is going to appear cool whenever it's seen, then the logo design have failed completely.
