Once you have delivered a job to your clients, they can make use of it in a way that will portray them as the designer. This is rampant in cases when the work is outsourced.

This can get to some designers, if they see their work watermarked and claimed by others even if they got well paid for it.
This should be a deal between the parties involved. Both should agree at the start whether the designer will be given credit to or not.

Do you want credits for your work or you give out the full rights?
 
Well, I don't have any issues concerning what my clients use my designs and do for themselves or for marketing process. You have paid me as a client, I don't have business with you any more after making the delivery of the work.
