That's a viable workflow. Adobe is not for all, especially if you are not earning much.

GIMP really needs an UI revamp. It is not dated yet, but still not the best UI around.

Buying the pro version gives you access to really good templates and resources. They recently acquried Leonard AI. Those services will be available too.
