What's your average cost of design per hour?

The more you become an authority in your work, then more you can charge higher and your clients will gladly pay without nagging about it or start looking for an alternative because they know the quality of what you're going to deliver.

What graphics do you avoid working on?

As long as the job is being paid for, I will work on it. Whoever uses it how they want to use it, that's their problem and not mine. I have always took any job which I'm 100% sure I can deliver on. It's only jobs I can't do that I don't take.

Is there a recent project you have worked on that you are proud of?

It doesn't have to be a recent work for me to be proud of it because everything I have worked on took my time, energy and resources to get it done. It's why I'll always be proud of all them. I'm currently working on a brochure which is coming out nicely.

Anyone use Tourbox? Its on sale now

True! This is exactly the reason why I haven't worried about getting it till now. I know that it can help with so much but since I cannot pay for it and I still have something else to get by with, it's safe to say that I'm covered. I would have been forced to do anything possible to get it...

Who are your favourite digital artists or designers?

Jessica Walsh and Lois van Baarle are the two graphics designer that I can never thank enough because of what I've been able to learn from them. If I were to pay them for all the knowledge I got from them, I will be in debt all my life.

    Custom Smileys

Agreed! Social media platforms are to be blamed for this decline in the use of forums and that's what indirectly affected and reduced how much those custom smilieys are used.

    Windows icons

I have tools like Adobe Illustrator, Figma, and Affinity Designer that are commonly used for creating or designing icons for Windows 10 and 11. They provide vector-based tool best for creating such icons.

    The blur effect

Gaussian Blur is one of the best you can use when it comes to softening edges of whatever you're working on. It's why I love using it too. It's very important to find a way to reduce or eliminate all the noise in the graphics design you're working on and that's what Gaussian Blur does for me.

    Brushes

It's just like choosing the right or best tools to work on anything you're hired to work on. This will make it more feasible for you to do a great job. So, when you choose your brushes right, you're just one stop close to doing a perfect job.

Do you like playing music when you're working?

I don't see anything wrong with playing music when I'm working on any graphics design jobs. As long as the environment where I'm doing the job isn't where when I play music it's going to disturb others. If I'm at home, I wouldn't mind playing songs as I work.

What's your favorite image editing software?

I make use of Canva right now for most of the graphics design jobs I work on but when it comes to image editing, I always run it with Photoshop. I have used GIMP at some point for it but I prefer Photoshop better.

    Image size

A simple illustration will be like trying to fix a Mac Truck tyre in Lexus 350 car. Do you think it's going to work out well? No, it's never going to work. It's the same thing with using images that are too big for what you're working on. It's going to completely ruin the job.

    Inspiration

First, you need to develop the habit to draw. Without having this habit, I think you're still going to struggle even if you get inspiration to draw from somewhere. It's why I work on developing my habit so it can be like an addiction.

    Digital Painting

I don't think there's any graphics designer who isn't familiar with MS Paint. It was introduced to all of us at the beginning of our journey in graphics designing and it had its charms like every other tools used in graphics design.

How has your approach to graphic design changed over the years?

Making use of shortcuts only limits your growth as a graphics designer. It won't end well for you because you're simply chaining yourself and that's never going to help you improve on what you're doing.
