The number of hours I actively do things online every day is between 7 hours to 10 hours. I wouldn't go past 10 hours online in a day. It's going to be bad for my health.

All of the online freelancer I know never accept cash payment. I've never accepted cash payment either. Even if the person is close, as long as the job is agreed online, I will be paid online.
