There are clients that do not really know what they want, hence they cannot be satisfied easily. While you are at it they always bring about changes in your work, it can be annoying.

How do you deal with these ones?

As long as the said client will pay me for my efforts, I'll happily dance to his tune. The problem only comes when I'm not getting my money's worth for all the stress he put me through.

When you have worked with many clients, you will understand that those that have more stress don’t pay enough. The good clients pay well and don’t have much stress.

I don't have any problem with my clients deciding to have further changes done to their job as long as I am going to charge them for carrying out that extra change and they are willing to pay, we can always work things out.

That is the exact problem. They are often not willing to pay extra charges for the changes they ask for, they claim since they have paid for the project it covers it all.

That's correct. I have come across those clients that will almost demand for your neck while not ready to pay for the service worth

As long as we have not concluded on exactly what you want, I will always allow my client to decide and make their final decision before I start working on their project.

In the end, that's the best to to do, because the client will rate you highly if you end up doing a good job. And you know what that means, he'll come back.

Some clients can be very frustrating to work with. In the end, I will need them to be a returning customer. It's why I will be free to accepting their changes.

There are a lot of things one has to endure as a freelancer due to the proceeds that come out of it. So even if a client is frustrating we will have to exercise patience with them to keep on working together.

As long as I've not delivered the job, my client have the opportunity to make changes in his requests. It's why I keep commination open all the time with my client for any update.

There are some clients who are very frustrating and annoying to deal with but you don't want to lose them because you need the money.

You just have to learn how to be patient with them until you must have completed the job.

A client who is constantly requesting for changes to the work that is being done for him doesn't know what he really wants. It's up to the freelancer to conclude on this before he start working on the job.

I will charge them extra money for making those changes. As long as they are willing to pay for it, I don't have any problem effecting those changes.

That is where the problem actually is. How many of them are willing to play extra just because they request for changes?

The problem is how you discuss and set up your contract with a client you are supposed to work for. If you don't set clear expectations upfront, this is going to give them room to always want to change things at will.

If the clients are willing to pay for every efforts I will put for the changes, I'm ready to do whatever they want.
If I haven't delivered the job, I'm also willing to make any changes that they requested.

Yes that is just the problem. Most of these clients are not willing to pay for these changes, they just want to use the designers to achieve perfection for less.

The problem is that if you refuse to do it, there are so many other designers who are willing to do it free of charge. I wouldn't want to lose a client permanently as a result of such.
