    The easiest to learn?

Paying attention and staying committed to learning the designs is surely not easy at first but with time one can be quite good with creating those works with ease.

What motivates you to keep working?

That is exactly the point. Focusing on becoming popular and getting better with the designs remains the goal for me. That is the major drive why I work.

    Will you consider taking trainees?

It is beautiful to teach especially for those who have learnt how to do so. I am not the type who is always focused on taking trainees as a designer. I would rather focus on doing it alone and learning more than trying to train others. It is stressful for me.

Where do you get inspiration from?

Tiktok is becoming exactly what we know with YouTube. It is always giving us what we would want in terms of materials and ideas to work. I don't even know the reason not many are using it yet.

What colours do you avoid in your graphics work?

Finding a balance amongst colours are very important when you are doing your design works. I have been learning on how best to keep doing that and it has not been easy for me though.

    Freelancing or contract role?

This is the truth. For me, I will go with a contract me as I will be sure that my revenue keeps coming in unlike what we see with freelancing roles where the flow of income only depends on when one hires you.

What motivates you to keep working?

My reputation. As a designer, I have a reputation to protect and most of the times, I work towards achieving that. I don't think there is any reason I shouldn't be pushing to build on what I've already achieved in designs so it keeps me moving.

    Canva for Students

That's right. It gives you an insight into the basics of graphic designing and believe me, that is one of the reasons I have been using it as a graphic designer who is working on becoming better.

    Are free tools bad

Yes, they are not bad, but it is also important that there are many other features that you get to use when you get to go for the paid ones.

What are some free or affordable tools students can use?

Canva is a good and popular choice for those who are starting a new. The challenge is that it may end up limiting such a person if you are just focused on going far with graphic designing.

What are some common mistakes to avoid as a freelance designer?

This is a key advice. There are a couple of tasks that only professionals and more experienced graphic designers can handle. Trying to take up such jobs would only make matters worse for you as a designer. I can only take jobs that I am comfortable doing even if I am paid lower to handle such task.

    Will you consider taking trainees?

I need to be very good at designing before I can consider myself a teacher. At the moment, I am not at that level where I can say that I can take up any trainee. So, the answer is no.

How do you handle clients that constantly request for changes?

That is so me. As long as a client is ready to pay extra for the changes, I won't have any big issues with them at all. I am doing my work, and I am not the reason they decided to make the changes.

How do you handle designer’s block?

That is good, but it is also necessary that you are careful to avoid entering the trap where you copy everything that Ai gives without adding your input which is the issue that most creative are having at the moment.

How many hours do you spend online every day?

My data connection is always on every day. There is no day that you would see me switching it off as it is not even possible for me as I may end up missing out on a work.
